Feature Film Moonrise, starring Granger Smith Filmed at Twin Sisters Dance Hall

The production of Moonrise began in January 2022 at a ranch in Blanco, Texas. Other filming locations were Blanco’s town square, Blanco Middle School and our own beautiful Twin Sisters Dance Hall where they filmed for two days. Pictures of the filming are on display at the dance hall.
The movie’s plot from IMBD.com is “After country singer Will Brown’s wife passes away, his grief sidelines his career and pushes him away from his young daughter until a bright and talented horse trainer shows him strength, forgiveness and grace to live life again.” Moonrise can be streamed on Pureflix.com and the cd is available on Amazon. CDs will be available to purchase at the dance hall as well.
